Villa Antica is situated in Praiano, in the heart of Amalfi Coast. An historic city centre only 4 Km away from Positano.
The house dates back to 1600 and was the home of the famous Praiano-born painter Bernardo Della Lama:
Both the interior and exterior of the building feature splendid decorations accomplished by the said painter, on the ceilings and on the entrance gate which bears the Della Lama family coat of arms.
The villa is set into the high coast of Praiano, between the sky and the sea, in the front row of the spellbinding landscape of the coast of Amalfi.
Praiano has been famous in past centuries for its fine artisan workshops of decorators and painters, whose works still decorate the countless beautiful churches and the ancient villas of the Amalfi Coast.
